Harvest Health is a cannabis company that is vertically integrated and is presently one of the most important players in the national cannabis market. The company recently signed a management services agreement with AmediCanna Dispensary of Halethorpe, Maryland. The agreement is approved by the state of Maryland and gives Harvest the authority to operate a retail location controlled by AmediCanna. The agreement also provides Harvest with an option to seek state approval to obtain the license currently held by AmediCanna Dispensary.

The agreement with AmediCanna provides Harvest with another expansion opportunity while providing American cannabis customers with services from an experienced operator. The agreement between the business entities has been approved by the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission.

Jason Vedadi is an upper management professional working with Harvest Health. Vedadi says the company is thrilled at the opportunity to further build its presence in Maryland. He also explained that Maryland is an important east coast location for the cannabis industry.

Vedadi says the AmediCanna agreement will help Harvest scale its Maryland operations more efficiently and drive profits to Harvest shareholders. Vedadi says it is also important for his company to further efforts on the part of the state of Maryland to facilitate a safe, effective, and successful medical marijuana program.

AmediCanna President Manish Shaw says her company is equally thrilled to further their own work through a partnership with Harvest Health. Shaw also says the partnership between the two companies was a natural progression due to the fact that both AmediCanna and Harvest possess the desire to provide quality cannabis products to Maryland medical marijuana patients.

The retail location for AmediCanna can be found at 3531 Washington Boulevard. The business is located in suite 112 and is open to customers from 10 in the morning until seven in the evening from Monday through Friday. Customers can visit the AmediCanna store from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays and the store is open from noon until 5:00 PM on Sundays.

Other medical marijuana locations in Maryland that are affiliated with Harvest include marijuana dispensaries in Towson and Rockville. The company also maintains a cultivation facility in Hancock, Maryland.

Maryland first launched its medical marijuana program in 2017. Since that time, the market has grown rapidly with more than 80 dispensaries, 15 cultivation locations, and 16 processing facilities receiving licenses from the state of Maryland as of December 2019. The state also recognized more than 84,000 certified patients and 1,600 medical marijuana providers over the same time period.
